    Trialling new hat designs and this is my favourite so far. I love how these two shades compliment each other and make the wool almost silky-looking.

        With circular needles, simply cast on 44sts using cable cast on method, and rib 1x1 for 6 rows. Then purl for the rest of the hat, and start decreasing when it measures 17.5cm from edge. Decrease = purl 2, purl 2tog etc. Purl one row. Purl 1 purl 2tog etc. :-)
