    When I was a child, my mother had a gorgeous yellow sweater which I just loved. My design, which first appeared in Cast On magazine’s Fall, 2003 issue, is based on what I remember of her sweater. The Rice Stitch is one of my favorites, and it provides a
    nice backdrop for the movement of the cable.
