    About

CO 14 sts per needle, Inc to 32 per needle using cardamom colour for contrasting toes, heels and cuffs.
Knit to 6.5 inches, then Inc on either side of foot 4 sts, every other round.
    Do heel at 7.5 inches.
Complete heel, 3 rounds of pattern at front, plain at back (for the one inch of plain above the heel) and decrease those gusset stitches every other round.

It’s still a little tight over the instep - I think I’ll start the increase at 6inches, and increase 5 on either side - that’s for another sock however.

OK, increased to 5 stitches either side on the second sock. I think up to 6 will do it, and maybe start half an inch earlier.

I love your socks, you must be very quick. I am nearly at the finish line for my first sock and it seems to be taking ages!

Thank you! I'm finding I want to knit all of the socks, that's why they don't take long - before I halfway through I seem to be planning the next one! Good luck with your socks :)
