    This whimsical hat was fun to make! The pattern instructions are a bit vague, so you'll need to 'read between the lines' in some places. (For example, it does not specify gauge, yarn, size, or flat or circular knitting.) I made a standard adult size hat with DK weight yarn knit in the round on circular needles using "magic loop.' Your mileage may vary...

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 3.50mm (US 4) 30cm
    • Circular 5.50mm (US 9) 30cm

    Accessories

    • Stitch Markers
    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stuffing
    Other : I used 'safety-pin' type stitch markers to secure the horns to the hat while I was sewing them in place. You could also use quilt pins.

    Measurements

    Notes: The yarns and needles I used yielded an average-sized adult hat.

    I used longer circular needles, and the 'magic loop' method to knit this hat in the round.
