    About

I saw this book on Amazon when I was buying a different one for a pattern and thought it looked quite interesting. I hadn't seen it before, but the description sounded very interesting. I liked the look of the top on the cover and had a quick look inside. I loved this hat, which was based on Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture, which I also like and, lucky me, I found a used copy for £1.00, so as far as I'm concerned it's already paid for itself as I'm on my second garment.

When I knit my hat i just fell totally in love with it. The colour seemed just right and the wool is gorgeous. The only thing I still couldn't master was the dreaded kitchener stitch. I certainly wasn't going to lose any sleep over that especially on the top of my head, I did a 3 needle cast off instead. I absolutely love it and i want a green one next for next winter.
