    About

I had bought a few skeins of fine yarn for a project I am never going to complete. I loved the yarn but didn't feel that a temperature shawl or scarf was for me. I wanted to knit a card as I haven't made one for a while and seamless knits always appeal to me. I misread how much yarn was required and thought I would have sufficient for this pattern in the natural white that I had already purchased for the oold project. I didn't! I ended up having to buy two more. They are slightly different but I used them for the sleeves and it is just about OK. A note about the sleeve: I modified the sleeve pattern. I knit the lace pattern to the natural cuff rather than the elongated rib in the pattern. I have noted how I did this on my Ravelry project (maillesanglaise).
I really like this pattern. It was a fairly quick knit and I've enjoyed wearing it.
