    About

A friend of mine heard I could knit quite well and asked me if I could knit something for her daughter. It was then that she pulled out this pattern book She had received for Christmas to have a go at. Apparently her daughter had posted noted about 7/8 animals that she wanted knitted for her birthday (June 1st). So she let me pick which one to knit for her but didn’t think I would get it done for her birthday but her I am with several days to spare. I did change the pattern up a bit, I used DK wool rather than 4ply and upgraded the needles to a 3 1/4mm rather than 2 1/2. It turned out quite well considering the changes and it was quite awkward as it was with the legs being so skinny.

It has turned out very well in DK and he stands so well and realistic, well done. Can't imagine having to knitting those legs in 4 ply! 😵

That was my exact thought! I don’t particularly like working in 4 ply at the best of times 😊
