    So I am off to South Africa in 2 weeks time to meet my grandchildren for the very first time! and about 4 weeks ago my daughter got really excited about me knowing how to crochet and asked me to make blankets for my grandchildren.

      The Sirdar Snuggly Peekaboo DK is a variegated yarn of blue, grey, white and purple and it turned out really lovely then I used the Peter Pan to go around the border doing 8tr into every other stitch to create the wavey effect. The body of the blanket was done in tr throughout with 2 rows of dc around the border before adding the wavey effect.
