    About

    I met Edward's Menagerie, Kerry Lord & her team at the Ediburgh Yarn Festival 2 years ago and have been in love with the crochet animals of Edward's Menagerie ever since. Even big children need lovable mascots! Unfortunately, I did not have the original yarn from Toft for this aardvark, who has been renamed "Winfried", German relative and chemical engineering mascot at university. I used my leftovers of Merino50 from Lang Yarns for the body and head, as well as two strands (doubled) for the dark feet.
