    About

After being asked to make items for others i'm starting to sell items on my facebook page Hooked Afloat. Ive never made hats so initially started on a Schachenmeyer pattern for a hat with ear flaps but it didn't look right. Instead I swopped to Mt Blackburn pattern and success. My tension and the wool used required me to drop a hook size. The pattern made up to an 18" childs' hat, so for the grey version I added rows to the magic circle increasing to 42 stitches and the completed hat measures 22". The main pattern requires front and back post stitches which were easy to master.
