      This was my first knitting project for about 40 yrs. It is a bit complicated but once you have completed a few rows you remember the stitch pattern. You need to keep a notepad with row numbers to mark off as you go. I also keep a note of number of rows to mark to eg front & back armhole shaping etc.so that I don't have to keep measuring. Good luck
