    About

I bought this at the Knit and Stitch Show in October 2015 (yes I know, its terrible its stayed in my craft pile unopened for all this time!) but I only bought the right size needles last week. I'm currently fighting off a cold (too much half marathon training) and I need something that is easy to concentrate on. This is a totally non-stress project, worked in two pieces over a small number of stitches, its delightfully calming and quick to progress. Working on this I can feel any worries drip away - I think this pattern is more relaxing than my yoga sessions! Working in 4ply and on finer needles is a challenge after my last project on chunky needles but I'm finding it much lighter and have less of a shoulder ache. I'm using straight needles, but if these are too much of a challenge theres no reason why you cant use circular needles as long as you lie it flat on the floor to measure the length! I've got some chunky yarn with a sparkle in I might try the pattern next!
