    The past 2 years I have made baby blankets for a local hospital guild to raffle at a Christmas bizarre. Last year's was for a boy. This year's is for for a girl

    Measurements

    36 x 50 in

    Notes: Using the needle size quoted, and the correct weight of yarn, this blanket ended up wider than the pattern quoted for a baby blanket. I therefore increased the length to keep the width to length ratio in porportion and a nice look. Now the blanket covers the top of a standard crib. The weight is a practical winter blanket weight.
