Notes: The pattern is written using DPNs but I used circular needles. There weren't many changes I had to do to account for this but I did change the toe slightly. The pattern asks for you to do French toe decreases and draw the yarn through the remaining stitches like you would with a hat but I chose to more of a wedge toe and then grafted it shut.
I knitted one round after the last pattern repeat then deceased until I had 16 stitches on one needle and 17 on the other. I decreased one stitch to even it out then used to the Kitchener stitch to graft the toe shut.
It took my a while to get the lace part down but it's quite easy to memorise in the end. The first sock has a lot of mistakes but nothing too major. In the beginning I didn't realise the 2 stitches had to be slipped and passed over together so there are a few pattern repeats where I didn't get that smooth knit stitch look but I realised my error and corrected myself going forward.
