I wanted a good knitting project for my holiday - which included long haul flights from Australia to Europe. I spent about 6 hours of the first flight unknotting the yarn I had attempted to wind into a ball. The lady next to me, and the lady next to her, clapped when I finished. I only got one sleeve done on my 6 week holiday! Luckily, when I got back I got flu and once I was well enough to stay awake I just knitted all week. This is my first time knitting with cotton (I'm trying to become vegan) - so far it has worked out really well. I found it fiddly knitting the cuffs of the sleeves in the round using the magic circle method so I knitted them flat, them started knitting in the round once I had finished the ribbing section. I sewed up the cuffs at the end and this has worked out fine.
This is probably the most complex lace pattern I have done and most of the lace rows have been unpicked and redone. I recommend checking every diamond every row.
