    About

This is a waistcoat where the body is knitted in one piece, shoulder to shoulder so the stripes are vertical. I love things with a peplum so picked up all the stitches around the bottom, put a marker in ever 20 cms or so and then increased either side of the marker to make the 'fullness'. I have since revised it slightly by making the front double breasted so it is slightly more fitted. (I never seem to be as big as I think I am!!!) The whole thing was finished with my trademark picot crochet edge, very simple very effective.
