I have had this pattern for while and I started knitting once before with Lace merino yarn but found it too fiddly and the fabric would have come out quite fine, so potentially rather see-through!
I am trying again with a 4ply yarn and I am happy with the result so far. The colour has come out very blue on my photo - it is more teal in real life.
Finally finished this and I am very pleased with it - it's quite big and floppy, which is good as I didn't want it to be close-fitting. I think I could have made a tighter knit by using a size smaller needles.
Nope, it has dropped quite a bit and is too big so I have taken it back to just under the yoke and am trying again! Fortunately I have lots of spare new yarn for the re-knit! Watch this space.......
Now finished again, finally. I did the pockets straight across and missed out the side shaping. Like it much better now. I shall post a new photo
