        I just casted on 120 stitches, knitted brim k1, p1 on 3,5 needles, than changed needles to 4mm for the main pattern:
        R 1,2) k all st
        R 3,4) k2, p2
        Decreasing was intuitive
        I knitted it in circles because I hate seams

        @Maria K: Thank you Maria. I will have a go with your instructions. The pattern has a masculine look which is nice to add extra interest than my standard beanie. I tend to work in the round so that I don't have to see apart from the ends.
