    our puppy is so small I couldn't find any coats to buy her at all. Also, most knitting patterns were much too big. I had a ball of this wool left over from knitting my mum a shawl for her birthday, so I knitted her one, aiming to be a bit big so she wouldn't grow out of it too fast!

    Measurements

    Notes: I used lace weight wool and 3.5 needles to make the pattern smaller so it would fit my super tiny dog. I also adjusted some of the pattern to get it to fit better. I made it the part with goes from the neck to the front legs a bit too short which means her neck is a bit too exposed to the weather and she can climb out of it a little too easily - otherwise it's great. The hood looks great but she can;t wear it as a hood - fashion only :)

      Way to big but wanted it to be small like your , would love to know your pattern.

        I used smaller needles and a finer wool, and all measurements which were in length, not number is stitches, I measured my dog and adjusted as required. The one measurement I would like to improve on it is the front leg holes to neck - I didn’t take into account how much longer my dog is on the front to back. Hope that helps!
