Debra this is absolutely beautiful. I have used a similar pattern to make pram blankets, but nothing compared to the size of this afghan. What yarn did you use for this?

this is a knit picks pattern. I used their yarn called Brava sport. it's a nice yarn reasonably priced.

Wow, this is so beautiful! I can't decide what I love more, the colors or the design. Either way, it is fantastic!

I love the jade/brown colours that used . Is there only 4 colours in this blanket. Did you adapt this from the Knit Picks pattern.

Yes, this is from the Knit Picks pattern. I enlarged the pattern to fit a bed or sofa and added a lace border. I used 6 colors-sea foam, cream, taupe, 2shades of brown and black.. I am so glad you like this version. I keep it in my living room and get lots of compliments.

The pattern is on the Knit Picks website. The blanket is made in four squares than sewn together. I altered by adding a row on top and a row at the side of each square. This made the blanket big enough to fit a bed. I also added a scalloped lace border.
