My First Baby Blanket

    I saw this free pattern before I started knitting through the LoveKnitting website. It inspired me to take up knitting as I wanted to make beautiful homemade items for my baby, when my daughter arrived I set to work learning how to knit and this was my first major project, It took me a very long time but I am pleased with how it turned out considering it was my first ever attempt at knitting anything other than a basic knit hat! It's a beautiful blanket, I use it over her car seat and also as a pram blanket, she loves cuddling up to it. Really can't believe this pattern is free!

      Nicole...Your blanket is lovely. Such a great effort for a beginner. I have being knitting for 60 years and am making this blanket at the moment for a present. Hope you enjoy making special things for your family. It is a great hobby.
