Hey Emily. Yeah I found the instructions a little tricky at points too. So in this instance I cast off 3 Sts at the beginning of the next row and then completed that row. In the following row I cast off the remaining 6 Sts. So 9 Sts to cast off, over 2 rows. Hope that helps! I'd love to see your jumper when it's finished. :)
