Hi Jackie I made these several months ago so don't really remember. Looking at the pattern, row 5 has to be repeated every 1/2" and the stitch pattern is basically as per rows 2 & 3. So I think you repeat rows 2-5 until the piece measures the required length. Hope this helps.
