I don’t think there is a tutorial, but the pattern is free on this site, and it is quite simple to follow 😀

Hi there A/A... I think I misread your enquiry before... are you asking specifically about the rosebud pattern around the bottom of the jacket?
It was quite simple once I had done it - put needle through the centre stitch hole 4 rows below, wrap yarn as for a knit stitch, then bring yarn through and place on the right needle, then knit 2 stitches, repeat: loop, K2, loop, k2, loop, knit to next rosebud per pattern.
On the next (purl) row, when you get to the loop stitch, purl the loop and next stitch together, p1, repeat twice (groups of 5 stitches now) across the purl row.
There might be a youtube clip for loop stitch? If I find one, I will post a link for you.
Hope you can work it out, as it’s a very sweet pattern 🙂

I found this on youtube, it’s the same technique, so hope it helps you out.

It’s available as a free download from LoveKnitting. “Rosy Garden Set” in Paintbox Yarns, Baby. It’s in 8-ply, and the pattern includes the jacket, bootees, blanket and bonnet.

Thank you Julie R ... the only thing I changed was to make the back plain rather than include the hearts as per the front.
