    About

I decided to knit these socks because my feet were cold one morning. It was fairly humid and I had not knit any new socks for a while. It's quite hot to knit so a small project was in order.
I got stuck on the heels as the original socks have short row heels. They didn't look good so I changed the heels. It took me a while to do. Normally these would have been done in a week at the most.

Notes: I changed the heels to a flap heel. These are knit toe-up. I increased to 60 stitches for the sock. I have narrow feet. I had to knit the pattern many more times to get to 2 inches from the heel before turning the heel. I cast off using Jeny's stretchy cast off. No Kitchener stitch needed.
