    About

    sock-knitting is an adventure that has me hooked, and so are our walking holidays; my husband's walking socks were old, boring and a bit thin so I've knitted him a bright new pair ready for a walking week in the Loire this autumn

    Other : row counter - essential for keeping track of the heel & toe shaping

    Measurements

    Notes: I used the middle size of the pattern (my husband has narrow feet); the foot of the sock initially came out too short & I had to undo the toe shaping & work an extra 1.5 cm.
