Riverport cable scarf
Riverport, a tiny river-front community on the aptly named Fairhaven Peninsula along the LaHave in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, maintains its rich Maritime traditions and is minutes away from the LaHave Cable Ferry ~ all-in-all, an apt namesake for this cabled collection. When a cold nor'easter blows, it's tucked up warm you'll want to be! And what better way than with lusciously cabled knitwear.
The Riverport Cable is the centrepiece of this scarf and is worked on the middle portion only. Reversible cables run along the edges of the entire scarf; the centre portion of both ends (approximately 18" / 45.5cm) is worked in rib making for a quick knit. The reversible cables and ribbed ends give the scarf a good public and non-public face while the stunning centre cable adds that bit of special!
Instructions for lengthening the scarf are included.
Both charted and written directions are included.
