This tea cozy and trivet fit an 8 cup "Brown Betty" teapot ... the trivet makes an envelope for an 8x8 piece of wood or tile (requiring a button to close the envelope). The tea cozy itself is knit in the round with an opening for the spout and handle and then finishes as a spiral dec up to the top.
