Gauge 23 sts and 32 rows = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette stitch (St st) on size US 4 (3.5 mm) needle, after blocking. 32 sts of Saddle chart = 4.25”/11 cm.
Tools Size US 4 (3.5 mm): 24-32” (60-80) cm circular (circ); size US 3 (3.25 mm): 24-32” (60-80 cm) and 16” (40 cm) circ. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge. 6 markers, cable needle (cn), tapestry needle, 2 stitch holders.
Materials Sport weight yarn (approximate amounts): 990 (1072, 1155, 1430, 1595, 1667, 1842) yards /905 (980, 1056, 1308, 1458, 1524, 1684) m.
