Product Details
A fine, easy to wear cover-up with optional tassles for summer evenings and those cooler autumn days. Although this poncho is dressed to a square shape, the open lace pattern and relaxed neckline will allow it to drape over the body. Be sure to use stretchy cast on to allow the scallops to form at the cast on edge and stretchy cast off at all neckline shaping and final cast off, to allow the garment to conform to body shape.
The lace stitch in this design is fairly straight forward and is probably a good place to start for a novice lace knitter. There is shaping at the neck which requires the pattern to remain correct which is shown in chart form for each size.

- A crochet hook is needed for adding the tassles. If preferred work the poncho on 3mm circular needle to accomodate the stitches more comfortably.
