Slice of Cloud cowl & intro to corespinning
Slice of Cloud is a soft, warm cowl given a gentle curve with elongated stitches, to better snuggle your neck. Simple garter stitch highlights textured yarns, like handspun art yarns. A corespun yarn makes the cowl marvelously fluffy, but with enough body to stand up around your neck and chin if desired; garter stitch means it's elastic enough to also be squished down to lie on your shoulders and chest.
This pattern comes with an Intro to Corespinning tutorial document! Are you a spinner who'd like to try a new technique, but isn't quite sure how to start - or what to do with a bulky textured yarn once you're done with it? Fear not. The 2.5 page Intro to Corespinning has all the information you'll need, whether you're a wheel or spindle spinner, plus things like troubleshooting for common problems, and links to additional resources such as video tutorials. Slice of Cloud is then designed to be the perfect use for your handspun corespun.
