Product Details
This wintery triangular shawl is a quick and fun knit designed for two skeins of fingering weight yarn. The center star is knit in the round, minimizing the use of purl stitches, followed by lots and lots of garter stitch. The pattern contains fully written instructions complimented with a chart for the center star. (It is not necessary to read charts.)
Yarn • 2 skeins fingering weight/4-ply yarn (400 m (437 yds)/100 g (3.53 oz) skein) • The pattern is best suited for solid or semi-solid colourways.
Needles and Notions • 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles, 100 cm/40” length • 5 x 3.5 mm (US 4) double pointed needles (dpns), preferably wood or bamboo • 2.75 mm (US 2) circular needles, 100 cm/40” length for picking up stitches • 4.5 mm (US 7) for the bind-off • 3.5 mm crochet hook for cast-on • 4 stitch markers • Stitch holders or scrap yarn. • Tapestry needle to sew in yarn ends • Optional: Pom-pom maker (4.5 cm/1.8’’)
