Product Details
Grab a skein of your favourite heavy Aran or a Chunky weight yarn and a pair of circular needles to make this cosy cowl. Beautiful in its simplicity, the pattern plays on the natural slant of the diagonal stocking stitch worked next to a panel of garter to give you this elegant and fun to knit accessory. The cowl is worked in the round using a circular or a set of double pointed needles. The pattern will naturally slant as your work progresses giving the cowl a wave at the cast on and the bind off edge.
The pattern is written to use only one skein of Manos del Uruguay Wool Classica with the larger size using almost the whole skein. If you are substituting the yarn or adjusting the size of the cowl, to make most of the skein you can work the body of the cowl to desired height leaving approximately 20 yards / 18 m (15 grams) of yarn for the final 5 rounds of ribbing and the bind off round.
