Beginning with a multitude of yarnover explosions, it is combined with the ladybird stitch pattern and star points, creating a project that can be worn as a shawl, wedding veil, grace a party table or as a decorative blanket or throw. The featured project, measuring 42" in diameter has been produced using size 4 needles in a lace weight yarn, with a three stitch, looped and crocheted edge. A variety of yarn weights and needle sizes can be used in DPNs and circulars.
