Look forward to colder weather with The Yarn Collective’s Hudson Worsted, a worsted weight yarn in a luxurious blend of 85% extra fine merino wool & 15% yak.
The merino wool is from a breed of sheep that produces the lightest, softest fiber, while the yak in Hudson is very fine and has the same softness and warmth as cashmere. Yak when blended with the extra fine merino adds extra softness and high luster to the blend, while adding a heathered effect to the warm, rich tones.
When knitted up Hudson takes stitch detail beautifully and creates wonderful garments and accessories that will wash and wear extremely well.
The 11 sumptuous shades were curated by internationally renowned independent designer, Michele Wang, and inspired by nature's changing hues in New York's Hudson Valley. Based in the US, Michele is the founder of mishi2x Designs, and spends most of her time designing for Brooklyn Tweed. Her designs have featured in knit.wear, Pom Pom Quarterly, amirisu and Vogue Knitting.
