Third Rail Cowl
The Third Rail Cowl is made up of bands of textured stitches worked in-the-round. These stitch patterns play well with semi-solid or tonal yarns. Two needle sizes are used to maintain a consistent stitch gauge among the alternating stripes. The reverse side of the cowl is an attractive combination of horizontal and vertical ridges.
Many mass transit rail systems use a third rail to provide the power that keeps the train lines running. The Third Rail Cowl is a stylish accessory that provides a little something extra for commuters trying to keep warm while waiting on a chilly train platform or at a drafty bus stop.
