B: 5 colours 100gm of each (Gold, Purple, Black, Rust, Turquoise). Much easier to change up the colours.
I tried an i-cord where you create a loop so you can keep knitting, and not have to pickup stitches again. Worked well, just don't freak out about the length of the loops, it felts right down. You can use the standard attached i-cord and then pickup stitches (use a 5 stitch i-cord). Either would work.
I have experimented twice with this bag. The first one I found to be too long and narrow and the handle was too small for my arm to go through comfortably.
So, I made it wider, shorter and longer handle.
Let's just say I am a person of extremes.
