Triple Panelled Scarf
I am totally addicted to scarves. Although I can create them myself, I always find myself looking at the scarves in the department stores and I will often come home with one. One of my purchases was a knit scarf that I picked up at a thrift store. I love that scarf and I received a ton of compliments on it. It is wide and long and perfect for wrapping. It inspired me to create a similar scarf using crochet stitches and I am pleased with the results. I know that you will be too!
The pattern suggests 990 yds of 100% Baby Alpaca yarn, but any favorite sport weight yarn will work up beautifully for this scarf. It is worked in one piece and it is the switching of stitches in each row that gives it the illusion of being worked in panels.
Pattern is charted and is written in American Standard crochet terms.
