I have been knitting for 50 years and have tried most types of knitting (Aran, Nordic, Fair Isle, lace, intarsia etc.). Today I develop my own patterns for knitting wraps, shawls & baby blankets, and I love using vintage patterns for babywear. I also knit throw blankets, scarves, hats, jumpers, homewares, toys and a bit of everything else. I generally only knit in 3-5ply. I also crochet, do petit point and tapestry, handsewn patchwork, handsewn beading, and paint in pastels. I enjoy entering my needlework in shows and competitions and have also knitted for charity.
