I am left handed and was taught by my older sister who is right handed at 8 years old. I knitted right handed until I was about 13 years and started to knit left handed and still do. Round that age I started to read knitting patterns. By 15 I was knitting toys. I stopped knitting around 25 years old. But took it up again when my niece and nephews where born. I was going to put my needles away again when my youngest niece was born in 2013. It now has became my stress relief from work.
Would like to learn how to crochet one day. I also do patchwork and count cross stitch.
