I knitted as a child and as a student but then had a gap of over twenty years until I returned to the hobby in 2014 as a way of relaxing from the day to day pressures. Since retiring in 2015, I have not stopped knitting, alongside walking, Pilates, yoga, aqua and enjoying time with friends and family. I attended a sock knitting workshop in 2016 and have knitted socks since, in between knitting items for new babies being born over the last couple of years.
