My primary craft interests are knitting, crochet, and crazy quilting, although I have dabbled in pretty much everything. I adore freeform crochet and knitting (the yarn world’s answer to crazy quilting), and crocheting afghans.
Although I have been crocheting most of my adult life, knitting is something I didn’t pick up until much later, and I am self-taught. I do a lot of Craftsy classes, as they are great for improving and expanding my knitting skills.
My favorite fiber is merino wool , but I also love those ones that are hard to get here in New Zealand and are generally out my price range (of course!): silk, cashmere, mohair, and angora.
I love working with fingering and lace weight yarns, and detest anything over a worsted weight.
