My mother taught me to knit, and like most youngsters I didn't show much interest at the time! Mum was a prolific knitter and would be quite proud of my efforts now. I love to knit; even on holiday I pack wool, needles and patterns. My hands need to be busy! Knitted two matinee costs, one cardi and a jacket on our recent 6 weeks holiday to Australia! To be honest, not very adept with knitting on 4 needles, but will persevere! Am loving my new projects from 'Toys from the toy box part II) beautiful patterns. Will post pics when finished.
