I learned knitting when I was about five and crochet at some time later by my mum. I never got much into crochet but loved knitting :) I had an about 2 decades break and came back to it a couple of years ago. I love the Internet for all the new techniques one can learn, just the sheer number of cast ons and bind offs are amazing! The last 2 years I'm hooked on cables and the possibilities of what can be done... I like challenges and have with my dragon written down my first pattern which was quite a challenge itself ;) I have most of my knitting life knitted without patterns but to write it down so others can follow is a different thing...
