I taught myself to crochet a couple of years ago, making first a granny squares bedspread and then a road trip scarf. I have since learnt to follow a crochet pattern and now particularly enjoy making toys for my great nephews and nieces and for various charities.
I am a retired ESOL tutor and really enjoyed working with people with different cultural backgrounds.
