Edith Grace Designs

map-pin Brackley, United Kingdom

My shop is named after my Granny Cox. Grace, as she was known, worked in the West End of London, as a Master Tailor in the fashion houses. She was evacuated to Deddington, Oxfordshire during 1941 & met my Grampy Cox. She became the local seamstress in the village of Deddington.

I have a lifelong passion for knitting & have been designing knitting patterns since 2012. My patterns range from fair isle knitting, to using knitting stitches to create texture and colour. All my patterns are for intermediate & advanced knitters, worked flat using two single pointed needles.

I am a keen advocate of using mindfulness when knitting, knitting is mind yoga after all.

All my patterns are original, my own ideas and inspired by nature, history, places and where I live in the English countryside.
