My mother taught me how to knit. In fact I think about my Mom a lot when knitting. I have inherited all her knitting supplies and her stash. It’s a bonus when I knit baby sweaters or Afghans using her stash of yarns and buttons. It’s like she has part in the present too. I think my first project was mittens because my mom said it had all the elements of basic knitting.
I love knitting all different things. I have knitted intricate lace shawls to simple baby sweaters. I love cables so I knit my fair share of fishermen knit sweaters.
