Mt Cotton, Australia
Hi, I am passionate about crochet especially home furnishings. Renovating items rather than replacing them to give them a new updated look, and sewing. You can guess I love interior design. Now trying my hand at quilting. In the last few months I have been told I am legally blind, I had noticed a significant deterioration but chose to leave it alone. I have been learning to crochet using a system of different size and shape markers. I use large markers to denote the start of a row/round, small markers for pattern start and end and to know where my repeat began I use two joined markers it makes sure I finish in the correct spot. To keep count when making a foundation chain or row I place a marker in every 10th stitch I only need to count my markers the. I have been out of the loop for a little while because of illness (I had a bone marrow transplant) and three more surgeries but now I'm back and can't wait to get started again. Thank you for reading this.
