I knit a lot for my grandchildren, although the older granddaughter is getting to the end of wanting "nanny knits", but the two year old is regularly supplied with jumpers and cardigans. I have received lots of compliments on the garments from my daughter's friends and on occasion have knitted for their children too. I normally take around a week to complete basic garments and a bit longer if the pattern is complicated. My daughter has now got the knitting bug and a little help explaining patterns to her via Skype work well. I'm now knitting for a grandson to be.
