I first started knitting when I left school. Projects were far and few - with some unfinished. My last project was a blanket for my first child. 30 years on and I have picked up the needles again. I surprised myself in knitting an aran jumper for my daughter in 6 weeks. I have since then knitted 2 more aran jumpers, a cardigan, a basic jumper and my first hat. All in 2017. My first project in 2018 is to knit a baby blanket for a best friend's son and his partner. This will be my first fair isle knit. I am looking forward to the challenge.
